TOPIC 1: GETTING READY TO LEARN

This topic conducted by Dr. Fauzi Azmi at Dewan Titiwangsa.

For study skills subject, the assessment is either pass or failed only.

Assignments::

1. Create a video consists of 40% 
2. E-portfolio consists of 60%

Between school and college studies

• Spend less time in class - As we are the college students, we spend most of our time outside the class. Some assignments require field trip in order to obtain the results. 

• More discussion and interaction with other students - Indeed, more interaction occurs between one another. This can help us to speak up on our opinions and exchange ideas. Discussion groups get us to know how to communicate and being in a teamwork.

• Fewer tests - But lots of assignments I can sure it with you haha. 

• Will not be reminded of due dates and exams - Some lectures rarely remind their students as they want the students itself be responsible and mature with time management. Some do! 

• No extensions on due dates - Students' marks will be deducted if they failed to send the assignment(s) on time. To avoid from this happening, students were advised to remind themselves by writing in at somewhere that can easily be seen or add the note in the phone. 

• Attendance must above 80% or = - Or an action will be taken to the student. Students must not playing truant. Attendance is taken seriously by the university please take note!

• Responsible for our own attitudes and attendance - Being a college students, we must be responsible with our own-self. We need to be matured and rational with whatever situation we are in.
