Hi everyone! I am saddened to say that this is my last entry for the E-Portfolio project. I hope you can take note from what I've written and make use of it in your student life. Time management and organizational skills is the last topic that I've learnt before end of my interim semester. It was conducted by Miss Syahidah on 26th of July 2017.

What is the definition of time? According to Wikipedia, Time is a component quantity of various measurements used to sequence events, to compare the duration of events or the intervals between them, and to quantify rates of change of quantities in material reality or in the conscious experience. Why students are required to learn about this topic? The main purpose of this topic is to give exposure to students on how to manage time effectively. Some students do not know how to manage their time well and due to that, they have difficulties in balancing their study life and personal life. Time management is important because it allows you to take control of your life rather than follow the flow of others. You can accomplish more, make better decisions and work more effectively. This can lead you to a more successful life. Besides, By implementing time management skills, you will be able to get a higher quality of work and get more done in a shorter period of time. Not only just that, students can prioritize their work and accurately judge the time needed to complete them.

There are five strategies on how to manage time effectively.

  1. Create a daily planner - You are advise to make a to-do-list so that you can prioritize which tasks is more important.
  2. Create a weekly schedule - The whole week consists of 7 days. You can add on deadline of assignments and include what you want to do for weekend as well.
